High Wire Corridor / Barge Shipping
Moran Iron Works, Inc. has the capabilities to cut the expense of time spent assembling and installing at the jobsite by completing more fabrication in our shop. We have the equipment and expertise to handle and ship massive assemblies with our High Wire Corridor access to the Great Lakes. The corridor runs from our facility in Onaway, MI to the Port of Calcite in Rogers City, MI giving us nearly unlimited access to a deep water port for barge shipping.
This High Wire Corridor allows us to ship very large pieces of equipment and industrial components to nearly any place in the world, which gives us an extreme advantage. With the corridor in place, we are able to move assembled pieces with dimensions of over 25 feet tall and up to 40 feet wide.
