Born and raised in Onaway, Michigan, Tom has been a proud life member of the Onaway community. He has a clear vision for his company and his community and strives to grow both on a daily basis by supporting education, imposing quality and encouraging strong work ethic.
Knowledge, experience, ongoing research and education assists him in forecasting trends in the manufacturing industry.
Tom is a AWS Life Member, State Licensed Contractor, Mine Safety & Health Administration, (MSHA) certified, certified in multiple welding processes, National Commission of the Certification of Mobile Crane Operators (NCCCO) certified, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) certified, CPR and First Aid certified, with 37+ years’ experience in the steel and fabrication industry.
Geri Ganske has been an incredible asset to MIW since 1990. He serves as Vice President of Sales & Marketing, overseeing the sales and marketing efforts at MIW.
His knowledge and skill has been instrumental in propelling MIW to be a global leader in steel fabrication. Geri has mentored and developed many of our colleagues and continues to be a guiding force in the progression of our team and the advances of the company.
Geri has an Associate degree in Drafting & Design Technology from Alpena Community College, Alpena, Michigan, and that is backed by his 43 years involvement in all aspects of the steel fabrication industry.
Victor (Vic) Ruppert has been with MIW since 1994. He serves as Vice President of Operations, overseeing project management, fabrication, purchasing and facilities.
Vic has provided senior leadership in many areas of the company. He has superior skills in design, blue print reading, mathematics, scheduling, rigging and fabrication. He is often tasked with the management of multiple projects at a time. He is actively engaged in organizational management and is instrumental in developing lean work methods to improve efficiencies.
Vic received his Associate of Applied Science degree in Drafting Technology from North Central Michigan College, Petoskey, Michigan. His community involvement includes coaching and assisting with area youth softball and soccer programs.
Originally from Saugatuck, Michigan, Pearl Tulgetske joined Moran Iron Works, Inc., in June of 2015. Pearl’s extensive education and background in management, finance, accounting and human resources makes her a good fit in filling the role of Vice President of Finance & Human Resources.
Pearl’s corporate responsibilities include monitoring the company's financial health while providing accurate and timely historical financial reporting, and risk management support. In addition, Pearl provides strategic leadership and direction to all facets of Finance/Accounting, Human Resources and Information Technology.
Pearl has an MBA in Accounting and an MBA in Strategic Planning from Davenport University, along with a BBA majoring in Management from Grand Valley State University.
Pearl is a member of the Board of Directors for Metal Quest, Inc., and member of the Board of Directors for Industrial Arts Institute, Inc.
Pearl’s goal is to work closely with other senior leaders within the company to drive growth and seek improvements.
David (Davey) Greszikowski has been employed at MIW since 1996. He works as Facility & Equipment Manager on the shop floor.
Davey is certified in Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA), and is National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) certified. He is certified in multiple welding processes and is proficient in the operation and maintenance of all of our manufacturing equipment. He stays current on operations and new technologies by engaging in industry seminars and training opportunities.
His community involvement includes 4-H programs and the Onaway Area Little League.
As our most credentialed team member, Mike Mehan started his career with MIW in 1991. His position on the fabrication floor is Quality Manager.
Mike’s distinctions include; Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), Certified Welding Educator (CWE), Certified Welding Supervisor (CWS), Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) supervisor certified , Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) certified with multiple certifications in various welding processes. He is a Level II NDT Technician for Mt, PT, UT and Visual, and certified in CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross.
Mike’s attention to detail and determination to provide highest quality product to the customer has set the bar in the industry.
Growing up in a family business, Marilyn Kapp Moran brings years of experience in public relations and customer service. She has worked in both public and private business sectors and brings her varied network of educational, non-profit and corporate connections together for the benefit of MIW and its corporate divisions.
She is responsible for implementing business development, marketing and public relations campaigns to strengthen both MIW’s standing in the marketplace and its corporate business strategy. She is also instrumental in business plan creation and grant writing.
Marilyn is Board President of the Industrial Arts Institute, Onaway, MI; Member of Michigan Governor’s Talent and Investment Board; GOP Precinct Delegate for Cheboygan County; Advisory Board Member for Lake Superior State University; Board of Directors of McLaren Northern Michigan Foundation and Downtown Development Authority (DDA), Onaway, MI.
She is a Hospitality Graduate of Southeastern Academy, Kissimmee, FL, a Certified Master Gardner and a Certified Grant Writer, Lansing Community College, Lansing, MI.
Kurt LaLonde started with the company in 1994. As a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and Certified Welding Educator (CWE) Kurt is a valuable part of the management of fabricated projects. He is Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) certified with multiple certifications in various welding processes. Kurt is a Level II NDT Technician for Mt, PT, UT and Visual, is certified by the Transportation Security Administration (TWIC card holder), certified trainer for Telehandler, and certified CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross.
Kurt is instrumental in teaching and mentoring our junior employees. He supports the community as a volunteer Firefighter, and offers assistance at the area public school for various projects and programs.
As the most senior employee at MIW, Guy Post has gained and shared a wealth of knowledge since his start in 1989.
Guy is a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and a Certified Welding Educator (CWE), has a Level II NDT Certificate for Magnetic Particle (MT) and Penetrant Testing (PT), is Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) certified, along with National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) certified. Guy is proficient and multiply certified in various welding processes and very knowledgeable in the operations and maintenance of MIW equipment.
He has been active in the community by participating in the Onaway Horse Club, attending community meetings, assisting with Community Fireworks Celebration and joining the MIW Adopt-a-Highway project.
From Onaway, Michigan, Scott Speed joined MIW after High School graduation in 1997. He serves as Plant Manager at our Cheboygan, Michigan facility.
Scott is an American Welding Society (AWS) member, Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), Certified in Overhead Crane Inspection, Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) certified, CPR and First Aid certified, and has multiple welding certifications. Scott is a seasoned employee with many talents in welding and fabrication.
Tim Woll joined Moran Iron Works as Corporate Accounts Manager in 2016. He has 17 years’ background in the steel business, spending over 14 years in the galvanizing industry and serving as the Great Lakes Regional Chairman of the American Galvanizers Association for nine years. Tim is also a NACE Level 1 coatings inspector.
A lifelong resident of Michigan, Tim grew up in Detroit and currently resides in Southeast Michigan. He has served as a youth sports coach and runs his church golf league. He and his wife enjoy spending time with their son, daughter-in-law and daughter. Their love of travel provides them with the opportunity to watch their children run competitively and perform on stage.
Rezeda Sullivan joined the MIW team in 2012, serving in Assistant Project Manager and Estimator positions before becoming Purchasing Manager in 2016. Rezeda has also completed the Basic Welding course at the Industrial Arts Institute. Born in Naberezhnye Chelny, Russia, Rezeda attended Kama State Academy of Engineering and Economics (INEKA), earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science before emigrating to the US in 2009.
She and her husband Dan enjoy spending time with their two sons, ages 1 and 4. In her free time, she coaches youth soccer for the Indian River Soccer Association and volunteers for the Cheboygan Hockey Association.
