Moran Iron Works sponsors three Girls’ American Softball Association Teams:
The 2016 14U Vulcans traveled to York, Pennsylvania for the Amateur Softball Association Class B Eastern National Tournament where they finished 7th out of 32 teams!
The 2017 season runs from June – July, so stay tuned for updates.
Moran Iron Works sponsors FRC Team 5534 – The Onabots from Onaway High School
The team competed in two district events during 2016, ranking 2nd at the Kettering University District #2 and making it to the semi-finals in eliminations. They also took home the Gracious Professionalism Award sponsored by Johnson & Johnson!
In 2017, the competed at the Gaylord District, making it into the quarterfinals, and will compete April 7-8 at the Traverse City District located at Traverse City Central High School.

The Grand Parade starts at Noon and travels through downtown Onaway. Keep an eye out for the Moran Iron Works float!
Moran Iron Works accepts funding requests from organizations located in the Emmet, Cheboygan, and Presque Isle County community areas for programs that address community needs. Funding decisions are made by the Moran Iron Works Community Funding Committee. Organizations are eligible to apply annually.
